35-19-888 Palm Harbor Lions Club Benefit Open Tournament Prize Fund $1000 Tournament Director: Ron Deckard phone 727-286-8318 cell 727-348-3584. This was a non-sanctioned tournament open to all. Format: Doubles(standing or walking) using regular cancellation scoring. High/Low random draw was used to select partners, except for Class E which was a random draw amongst the 12 players. Payout was $200 in each Class 1st=$80, 2nd=$70, 3rd=$50. Wins/Losses will determine the winners with the tie breaker as follows: Head to Head Points, then Total Points. 50/50 Raffle and Door Prizes were drawn between 11:30 AM - 1:00 PM. Top door prize was a Tao Tao 50 Scooter Type A1 (Pony 50) Scooter. The Horseshoe Club grilled hamburgers and smoked sausage for lunch. The meal price was $5 with choice of sandwich and 2 sides and dessert. Sodas were $1 and bottled water is $.50. Horseshoes were available for those that don't have their own. A big Thank You to Lion Club Members for getting the cash prize fund and all of the many valuable door prizes. Thank You to all of the Horseshoe Club and Lion Club Members that volunteered to make this a very successful event. Thank You all for supporting the Palm Harbor Lions Club benefit tournament. Approximately $2600 was raised to benefit the Palm Harbor Lions Club. Every cent of your donation to the Lions Club is used to support needy people right here in the community.
