35-19-075 Clearwater, Gloria Deckard's Fun N' Sun Open $250 Added This Tournament was sponsored by Ron Deckard with $250 added to the prize fund in appreciation of his Wife Gloria Deckard for all the years she supported me with my horseshoe pitching and her volunteering to run the concession at the Clearwater Horseshoe Club. Unfortunately she is not able to do it anymore due to back issues. She misses seeing all of her many horseshoe pitching friends. I also want to thank all of the other members that volunteer at the horseshoe club. A great group of friends. Format is round robin play using cancellation scoring. Winners determined by Won/Lost record and Head-to-Head tie breaker per NHPA rules. Tie breaker Scratch Class = 1st-HtoH, 2nd-R%, 3rd-Pts. Tie breaker Handicap Class = 1st-HtoH, 2nd-OvrAvg, 3rd-Pts. Classes with a ringer percentage difference of 10% or more were handicapped using 80%. It was a beautiful sunny day in Clearwater Florida with temp about 82 degrees in shade.
